How do you make money from this?

PhaseLineOutfitters assumes the hosting, payment processing, security, and overhead costs for all stores under our umbrella. To recoup our costs PhaseLineOutfitters retains all revenue from the product sales. We currently do not have revenue sharing with sponsors who have an open storefront.

Why would I choose this option?

PhaseLineOutfitters exists for store sponsors who want a custom store to sell their products but don't have the knowledge, time, or ability to create their own website and storefront. Deciding between product providers, web hosting, web security, domain name registration, payment processing, and all the other things that come with opening a website and e-commerce stores is endless. PhaseLineOutfittersis there for the person who wants to get their items in a store to sell to their team with little or no fuss.

PhaseLineOutfitters is NOT for someone who wants to make a ton of money on their products. If you have custom designs that you want to sell and make tons of money on, PhaseLineOutfitters is not for you. If you want your own domain, we are not for you. If you care about your branding being top bill, we are not for you.

We are here to bridge the gap between the people who want to have a website to sell gear for company retreats, military units, youth sports teams, and any organization that wants a store open to get their gear to their members.

Where do the products come from?

PhaseLineOutfittersuses the print-on-demand (POD) model to fulfill items in stores. Items are printed as soon as an order is made, and often without order minimums. With POD we can create customized designs for a variety of products and put them in your store. POD shipping and delivery times are sometimes longer than traditional product lines, where items are pre-printed and stored in a warehouse waiting for orders. This keeps overhead costs down and ensures that products are only printed and delivered to those who want them. There is less risk if products don't sell, no inventory management is needed, and it is easy to diversify your product range.

Can I get a discount?

PhaseLineOutfitters will work with store sponsors to get the best price for the products in their stores. With the POD model, it is difficult to lower costs as products aren't produced in bulk. However, if you are interested in doing a bulk order, PhaseLineOutfitters can work to conduct infrequent bulk orders in case you want to have some products on hand.

How long does it take to get my store built?

PhaseLineOutfitters works to get your custom team store up and running in 5-10 business days. Of course, timelines for stores vary on the amount of work our team needs to complete any design work and to mock up products. For store sponsors who have logos, designs, and product visions ready to go, store setup will be simple and can likely be completed in 5 business days. If you don't have logos, need a custom design, and need some help bringing your vision to life, store creation will take longer.

What if I need a logo or graphics designed from scratch?

Our team can help store sponsors bring their vision to life! We offer limited design services including cleaning up graphics, color correcting graphics for the best printing outcomes, creating design mockups, and working to improve image quality. However, as we focus more on generating apparel stores, our team doesn't specialize in graphic design or creating logos and branding from scratch.

What if I need better-quality graphics?

The graphics that work best for our products are PNG or JPEG files that are between 150-300 DPI and based on the sRGB IEC61966-2.1 COLOR profile. If you don't know what any of that means, it's okay! You can provide our team with your graphics and logos and we can work to increase the sharpness and quality, or help give you input and direction on what might need to be changed or updated. In some cases, we can help to increase the image quality or recreate items if needed. Just ask!

Who owns the final product designs?

Any graphics, logos, or premade designs that you bring to us, you retain ownership for. If our team creates custom mock-ups, designs, or new images using your direction or by compiling graphics you provide, PhaseLineOutfitters will retain ownership of those items and they can only be used in our storefronts. However, those designs will not be recycled and used for other customers, so you can be safe knowing that your logo won't end up on someone else's products!

For any trademarked or copyrighted material, you must be the original owner and be able to prove your ownership. PhaseLineOutfitters has the right to refuse logos or designs that include trademarked or copyrighted items at any time.

How many products do we get?

The beauty of POD is that our stores can be scaled to give users as many products as they wish as long as our printing partners keep them in stock! There are many different styles of shirts, hoodies, jackets, drinkware, bags, hats, and more for you to choose from, each coming with its own pros and cons. Our design team can give you insight into what kind of product exists and when reaching out for the first time, a product list will be provided with general price considerations for you to choose from!
