Like all great ideas, PhaseLine Outfitters all began with dealing with a frustrating process.

Buying customized t-shirts, polos, and hoodies for a friend’s military unit turned into finding a better way to connect people to the products they needed.

From his first mention of getting the shirts, the process seemed horrific and annoying. The poor Soldier tasked to organize the effort was doing great, and the inefficiency of the process wasn’t her fault! When were things getting here? Can I order more or do I have to take a flyer and get them all now? When will they arrive? What do you mean by “the store closes”?

All of these questions had answers I didn’t like so I started out finding a way to fix it. After learning how to create print-on-demand products, do graphic design and editing, and spending too much time designing graphics and unit shirts I realized the biggest hurdle for most people was building a website.

We set out to find the best way to mix the ease of print-on-demand with the timely and costly effort of building, maintaining, and hosting websites. That idea became StoreThen.

StoreThen is a woman-owned, veteran-owned, minority-owned business focused on serving a niche group of people who need to sell products and merchandise and don’t have the capability, funds, or time to maintain web services.
